|Fresh picture of this most colourful butterfly taken on my school campus.|
Talicada nyseus, the red Pierrot, is a small but striking butterfly found in the Indian sub-continent and South-East Asia belonging to the lycaenids, or blues family. The red Pierrots, often found perching on the Kalanchoe plant, are usually noticed due to their striking patterns and colors.

Always a pleasure to view one of these beautiful little butterflies. The contrasting black, white and orange colors go quite lovely together. Very sharp focus and presented in an attractive composition. I like all the greenery surrounding it. Well done!!
