|The marbled white (Melanargia galathea) is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. Found across most of Europe, south Russia, Asia Minor and Iran. There is an isolated population in Japan. It is not found in Ireland, North Britain, Scandinavia (except Denmark) and Portugal or Spain. Despite its common name and appearance, this butterfly is one of the "browns", of the subfamily Satyrinae.|

Beautiful photo in a fine composition. Sharpness on the right wing isn't the best, but the focus on the rest of the butterfly is good. Splendid natural colors.
Thanks for visiting my gallery. It is really a splendid capture. Amazing sharpness and excellent clarity. The light and details are great. This specie is very rare in my region for about 2-3 years.....
Nice to see your photos again.....

I like such vertical frame when subject is also formed vertically. So it's a well choose of framing. No question on BG; to concentrate on butterfly such BG is perfect. But flower has taken a big percentage of your focus and for this a part of butterfly's wing looks soft. But it's not such soft that we couldn't fix it in Photoshop.
Thanks for sharing,
