A view of a Northern Gannets (Morus bassanus), they are part of the Pelecaniformes order and part of the Sulidae family. The photo was taken during a boat excursion around the Bonaventure island in Perce.

Salut Pierre. Une espece pas vue beaucoup sur TN,la capture est excellente malgre' la distance,magnifiques aussi les details des rochers,un noir et blanc ou presque. Belle journee' et merci,luciano

An interesting shelter for these birds among the rocks, Pierre.
Wish you had a bigger zoom lens for a picture like this.
All the same, we get a fair impression of these birds even from a distance.

Hope one day I will find this species here in South African costal area.
Quite well captured. But far so details are not such great and a few part look OE due to sunlight. Tight frame could have been better to get rid of BLANK SPACE in the frame.
