My last post is here. Why last post?
Its easy to write a short note and make a copy/past of the Wikipedia page and add some blabla about the light, the DOF, the macro lens. Im sure I can get points from people who are waiting for payback. In fact, Im really tired of such hypocrisy.
This great site became more and more a photography even a macho contest which has nothing to do with learning about and from Nature. Posts of captive animals in zoo or with titles like flower, dragonfly, fly and other beetle, without any search for ID or behaviour show very well the contempt of nature and people.
I still have a lot of interesting photos of plants, insects and some birds to share, but for this reasons I will not post I will be back only if TN became again a site to learn about nature. Im sorry for my friends, the real Nature lovers. I will continue to watch and comment yours photos.

This wonderful Nature around us has never been so abused as today Nevertheless, it constantly invites us to discover. Photography is only a means to pay tribute to its beauties and infinite ingenuity.
Learning about nature through photography. TrekNature allows us to discover and share the real treasures of this planet. From the small insect and tiny flower to the giant trees and mountains everything worthwhile is to be observed, enjoyed and respected.
Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads. (Henry David Thoreau)
Nature teaches us patience, respect and humility. I particularly appreciate these values in Homo sapiens. They give strong roots to friendship, as in trees. For the wings, we have those of birds, dragonflies and butterflies to contemplate...

Ma dernire photo est ici. Pourquoi dernire?
